Dinagat hairy-tailed rat (Batomys russatus) with Badlit or Suwat Binisaya printable art
The Dinagat hairy-tailed rat (Batomys russatus) is one of 18 cloud rats unique to the Philippines, found only on Dinagat Island. We like to call this rat an “ancient temple” of Dinagat, because in its “temple” or head might be an ancient arrangement of blood vessels unique to mouse species that were around a long time ago (G Musser et al 1998).
The writing or script shown here is Badlit or Suwat Binisaya.
